Greetings All,
My two small businesses are part of the vast event industry that is experiencing a crucial blow much like the restaurant world.
I have couples contacting me, those who have been planning their wedding day for as early as today and well into late May and mid June, calling to cancel and postpone their booked events. While some couples offer the temporary relief of postponing rather than requesting a cancellation refund, those "postponement dates" in the future are dates that would have been available to other clients/other/additional revenue.
At the very least...there is the idea that we request of those (who have moved their dates to the future) to maintain their original (re: coming weeks) payment schedule. This can possibly offer some skeletal sustainability in cash flow which has all but disappeared.
All the best to all of you creative entrepreneurs!
