About Our Presenters:
Alex Tittle, Consultant, DiversityACT, LLC; Vice President, Business Connect Program and Corporate Affairs, Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee. Alex currently serves as the Vice President of the Business Connect Program and Corporate Affairs for the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee. The Business Connect Program is the “supplier diversity” program centered on the 2018 Super Bowl. Alex brings his success and expertise around community and corporate partnerships to this role in an effort to ensure that local minority, women, veteran and LGBT businesses network and learn how to conduct their respective businesses with the NFL and its contractors.
Sarah Kowal, owner of Right Now Enterprises, works with passionate and creative storefront retailers to take their businesses to the next level whether that is sales, profitability, expansion, or otherwise (check out my websiteto find out more). FUN FACT! The 2017 Houston Super Bowl (LI) brought in over 150,000 visitors that spent over $425M in the Houston area. In order to best support Twin Cities businesses for Super Bowl LII, hosted right here at the US Bank Stadium, she has garnered wisdom from members of both the Houston and San Francisco Super Bowl Host Committees- those who've been through it. She has also met with and spoken to the Minneapolis Super Bowl host committee members- those who know what is in store. Not only that, but I've researched and partnered with SCORE and other professional comrades to become the Twin Cities authority in helping retailers prepare for this big event.
Scott Mueller, Master Advertising Specialist of Indoff Inc will share how you can use visual promotions to be prominent and be seen by this increased traffic. We’ll be gathering in the showroom of Showdown Displays (Shingle Creek Pkwy and 694), where you’ll be able to see tents, sail signs, banners, floor decals, pavement decals and so much more. All attendees will get special pricing through 31 August (take advantage of this for Nicollet Open Streets!) Scott is a Kingfield resident and is currently in his third term on the volunteer Board of Directors for the Kingfield Neighborhood Association. Scott will also be talking about effective promotional giveaways, and the messages you can imprint with to increase business.
