We've all been following Council's efforts to create a citywide sick time policy. Your participation on our survey, in our meetings and speaking with your council members have made a difference in the conversation, and now is the time for one last push to ensure city staff and council members craft a policy that meets their goals in a way that works for our small, independent businesses.
Please join association leadership for an update on the state of the city's sick time policy, and to work together to communicate to our council members what we need to make this work for our businesses. We'll be sharing details of the proposal, and reviewing changes we can ask for as a group to help ensure final legislation is workable for small business. Finally, we'll be helping schedule meetings with your council members so you can be heard.
